The center provides a variety of nutrition-related services to seniors. Program helps seniors obtain nutritious meals and groceries. Nutrition Services include:
Meals on Wheels:
Delivers hot meals once a day to homebound seniors Monday through Wednesday. Help can be short term or long term depending on individual needs. Also delivers frozen meals to cover the rest of the week. Frozen meals delivered on Wednesdays.
Offers meals on wheels services during a power outage event. Also offers additional prepared meals, shelf stable foods, and frozen food options during a power outage.
Community Lunches:
Lunches are served on Tuesday. Lunches served at the Veterans Memorial Hall
Point Arena Food Bank:
Food distribution to low income people is available once a month. Food Distribution is done at Veterans Hall in Point Arena on 2nd Tuesday of each month.
CalFresh Application Assistance:
Provides application assistance to help seniors sign up for CalFresh (formerly Food Stamps)
